Downhill

We are currently in Antigua, the same place as we were this time last year. Not much happens here, and the island isn't really that big which is one of the reasons why I haven't taken too many photos recently. There is nothing new to my eyes and it is a bit of pain / liability to always have a camera over the shoulder.

Our deckhand Val however, likes to do whatever whenever, which is good as it keeps me entertained and provides me with opportunities to shoot something new. We did a 6am wakeboard session on Saturday, but then I was stuck on the boat on watch whilst he went kitesurfing during the day. However we planned a little sundowner skate session that afternoon from one of the old lookouts at Shirley Heights and back towards the boat. It is a 2km run that gives you about a 200m drop in elevation with plenty of nice turns and a surprisinly good roar (except for the first 400m which is pretty much gravel!).

Here is the end result, I hope you enjoy it!
