Sound of Music

So after Ireland it was back to foggy old London town for 3 days of respite, which just so happened to coincide with the "The Boat Race" a famous rowing race on the Thames between Oxford v Cambridge Universities which, 4-miles in length, dates back to1829. Now watching any historic sporting event is always better with a few drinks, which is exactly what we did, all day and into the night - definitely an enjoyable day!

Once the dust had settle however, it was back into transit mode, this time leaving St. Paul's Backpackers at 415am in the morning. A taxi, train, plane, then 3 more trains and 13 hours later I found myself in brixen im Thale, a ski village in the middle of the Austrian Alps.

My good friend Scott lives here now with his girlfriend Ramona, so it was a week of snowboarding, schnapps, cards, a brewery tour, a trip to Salzburg and just generally good times.

Massive thanks goes to Moni and her parents for being awesome!!!!

I think he is from Black Keys?
