At the start of the year, I spent just under three months travelling through Europe. It was an awesome that was brought on quite unexpectedly (I booked it 3 weeks before I left). This trip along with surfing in Samoa over Christmas, and a five week trip to South Africa for the FIFA World Cup last year, has well and truly lit a fuse that has awoken the travel bug inside me. Last count had 24 countries visited since June last year.
Now I have to find a job, however I have a good friend who is currently sailing across the Pacific and has mentioned that I should join him in around 6 weeks time. Check their blog at

Decisions need to be made, I know what will win, it's just a matter of making it happen financially.
