People are strange.

We are in NYC again, this time with the boat, and yes I do have photo's, but no, I am not going to put them up just yet. Here are a few from the day in New York in May, mostly of some peculiar characters, the type found only in these urban habitats.

p.s. I am sitting just off the boat listening to the comments from the hundreds of people looking at it right now - it is quite funny.

Ears: Good ol' Jim

Will probably beat you in a fight.

As to this guy in a wrestle.

We all need a machine that makes ATM's

This guy is tucking in to a kebab whilst leading a horse drawn cart tour.

Day at the beach right?

Blurry, but this is inside the MOMA - seems to be his museum visiting outfit.

These guys were actually pretty good.

Can't remember why I took this, but I laughed at the time......

Love a good bum bag - makes you blend with the locals.

They seen me coming.........

4th of July

I spent St. Paddy's Day in Dublin last year; I was hoping the 4th of July would somehow compare to that experience. Being in the historical birthplace of the country I was a left a little disenchanted with the fireworks display that was put on. Maybe we should have gone up the road to Bristol, which apparently hosted the biggest parade in the USA.

We still enjoyed our front row seats though, and life is pretty good in the US of A.

We head to Manhattan in a few days for the week- stay tuned..........

Ears: Bruce Springsteen helping out The Gaslight Anthem
Can't really get more American in this 5min clip!
